One of the members of the Rushmoor Writers has announced on the Yoto Carnegies longlist.

The Yoto Carnegies, the UK’s longest running and best-loved book awards for children and young people. Dominated by independent publishers, the stories range from intimate examinations of family life to sensitive introductions to societal issues impacting the world today, with many reflecting on past histories or looking to the future of our planet.

In the awards press release, there is a description of Louise Finch’s work.

The Eternal Return of Clara Hart is described as an impactful exploration of toxic masculinity and the only debut on this year’s Medal for Writing longlist.

The shortlist will be announced on 17 March 2023
